…a missionary society and relief organization operating on an interdenominational and international scale.

Interdenominational – “Inter-Mission” cooperates with various Christian denominations, commissioned by Jesus Christ to “make all nations disciples”. Even the staff comes from different churches and denominations. “Inter-Mission” is not a church, congregation or denomination but works within the framework of existing Christian structures. – The basis of our faith is very simple: We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of all men and rose from the dead. Through faith in HIM alone we receive forgiveness of our debt and eternal life.

International – The tasks and activities of Inter-Mission reach beyond country borders.  Projects are maintained in India in the first place, but also in Indonesia, Sierra Leone and Germany.

The activities concentrate mainly on providing help for body, mind and soul of needy people, in particular for children and young people.



Inter-Mission today

Several independent but closely cooperating organizations in various countries form the Inter-Mission network: Inter-Mission Deutschland in Hanover (Germany), Inter-Mission Schweiz in Liestal (Switzerland), Inter-Mission India (Chennai, India), Inter-Mission Industrial Development Association (Chennai, India) and IM CARES (Mumbai, India).

Inter-Mission is a member of various associations: the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Evangelikaler Missionen (Association of Evangelical Missions), the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Pfingstlich-Charismatischer Missionen (Association of Pentecostal and Charismatic Missions) in Germany and the EFI (Evangelical Fellowship of India).India
